Turkish Fuel Services (TFS) implemented the “From Children to the Future” social impact model in Arnavutköy, where it operates, addressing social impact with a measurable and sustainable approach.
Within the scope of the project, designed with the ideas of young people and experienced in the field with children, approximately 100 students from kindergarten to 4th grade of primary school participated in experiential workshops based on environmental awareness, curiosity, and sharing. The workshops were structured around themes such as reassessment, sharing and solidarity, scientific curiosity, and the relationship with nature. Developed with the voluntary participation of university students, the project offered a social impact model based on the application of ideas generated by young people in the field together with children. The project was implemented in coordination with the Arnavutköy District National Education Directorate.
Within the scope of the project, which aims to extend the learning process that begins in the school environment into daily life, students were given kites as gifts to encourage the continuation of the learning experience with their families.
According to feedback received from teachers, parents, and volunteers, the project resulted in a noticeable improvement in children’s curiosity and group interactions. “From Children to the Future” is positioned as one of the first field applications implemented by TFS in line with its long-term social contribution approach.
