Our Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Manager, Ayşe Ebru Elçin, participated as a speaker at the 2nd Istanbul Airport Sustainability Summit, hosted by Istanbul Airport.
At the summit, representatives from Turkish Airlines (THY) and Istanbul Grand Airport (IGA) came together in a panel titled “Sustainability Approaches in Aviation.” Throughout the panel, the common view of all speakers was that sustainability is not only an environmental goal but also a holistic approach shaping the future of the sector.
At TFS, we are on this transformation journey;
- We are implementing practices that consider both efficiency and environmental impact in operational processes.
- We support projects that increase energy efficiency through electric vehicle conversion.
- We aim to contribute to reducing carbon emissions through strategic planning for the supply and procurement of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).
